The wiki has relevant links to definitions, examples and explanations where necessary, but there are endless other resources to help learn about and implement machine learning.

LinkedIn Learning

There are a few courses on LinkedIn Learning that are good resources for starting out and gaining an understanding.

For a high level overview this course provides conceptual understanding of how different models relate to each other, what kind of data and applications they are good for and what hyperparameters are required for each.

A good course for understanding decision trees and how to use them to their full potential can be found here.

Visualisations

It can be difficult to understand what an algorithm is actually doing.

A good overview of clustering algorithms with super helpful animations can be found here.
